| For Lux Mundi, Language Removal Services is creating a new work, Lux Aeterni, which addresses the spirtually healing and transformative power of language vis a vis the human body. Like all of our work, "Lux Aeterni" foregrounds the physical act of speech, and the body which produces that speech. "Lux Aeterni" draws its inspiration from several of the world's leading televangelists, and features "Static Language" portraits (samples of speech with the words removed) of these figures(Jim and Tammy Baker, erry Falwell, etc.) which are mixed together in our "Ecstatic Language Engine" to create a new kind of speech organism. | |
