CONNECTIONS : anyOne anyWhere anyTime
Connections is an exhibition consisting of four exhibits about
telecommunication,
allowing museum visitors to communicate across the gallery in novel
ways.
From the introduction to Connections:
People have always sought to communicate with one another over a long
distance, but it hasn't always been easy. A message that once took
days, weeks or even years to travel by foot, horseback or ship can now
travel by wire, fiber optic cable or microwave signal to its
destination in a tiny fraction of a second. Our modern
telecommunications network reaches around the world, allowing us to
share ideas and information with virtually anyone, anywhere, anytime.
I fufilled many roles in the creation of Connections, from concept
and design to project management to fabrication and installation.

Arbor Hands-On Museum
