Prairie Shelter: The Return

Art Farm SUMMER 2001

"The Return" is both a place of solitude and a social space. It is a place for study of the local ecology. A penduolum hangs through the ceiling for meditation. The name is from ancient Chinese Taoist texts, The Book of Changes (I Ching), and the The Book of the Way (Tao Te Ching), and refers to the constancy and complexity of change.
